The Sudanese Canadian Community Centre, established in 2006, serves as the heart of the South Sudanese community in Winnipeg. This center functions as a gathering place where community members can come together to celebrate their culture and engage in social, cultural, and educational activities. Through its various programs, the center promotes unity and integration into Canadian society.
As a not-for-profit organization, our mission focuses on enhancing the quality of life for South Sudanese residents in Manitoba. By providing a platform for job training, education, and social activities, we aim to facilitate member participation and strengthen our community bonds. The center was established by dedicated volunteers who recognized the importance of having a supportive environment for cultural expression and mutual growth.
